Transiting North Node in Aries and South Node in Libra: Finding Inter-dependence

I want to start by inviting you deeper into this conversation at my Inter-dependence webinar September 23rd. . I have created a 36 question workbook to help you assess where you truly are in these lessons, so you can leave informed and ready to shift in these next 18 months.

Astrology is a powerful tool that can help us navigate and understand our lives. The North Node and South Node transits can bring major changes, and the current transit of North Node in Aries and South Node in Libra is no exception. This transit is all about finding inter-dependence, leaving co-dependency and hyper-independence behind, and finding a sweet, empowered balance in the middle. This blog post will explore this transit in-depth and how it can help women struggling with co-dependency.

The North Node in Aries is pushing us towards independence, assertiveness, and self-determination. It’s time to take charge of our lives, our goals, and our dreams. We are called to stop living for and through others, to stop pleasing everyone, and to take care of ourselves first. It’s okay to be selfish, to prioritize ourselves, and to pursue our passions. With the North Node in Aries, we’re urged to develop our individuality, our courage, and our self-reliance. We’re asked to take risks, to trust our instincts, and to forge our own path. If you’ve been too dependent on others, this transit can help you break free from that pattern and discover your own strength and power.

On the other hand, the South Node in Libra is asking us to let go of co-dependency, enmeshment, and codependent behavior. We need to release the need for approval, validation, and acceptance from others. We must stop sacrificing ourselves, our happiness, and our well-being for others. This transit enables us to recognize where we’re too accommodating, where we’re too passive, and where we’re too eager to please. We’re challenged to stand up for ourselves, to set boundaries, and to honor our needs and desires. The South Node in Libra is also teaching us about the power of compromise and cooperation, but from a healthy, balanced place, not from a place of sacrifice or martyrdom.

The beauty of this transit is in the integration of those two polarities: the fire of Aries and the air of Libra. Aries teaches us to be independent, self-motivated, and self-assured. Libra teaches us to be relational, supportive, and cooperative. Together, they allow us to find a healthy, inter-dependent balance. We can have our own needs and goals while also nurturing our relationships and helping others. We can be assertive and compromising, self-assured and empathic, confident and supportive. We can learn to express our authentic selves while also honoring and respecting the other. Inter-dependence means that we’re not alone, but we’re not defined or limited by others either. We’re our own selves, and we’re connected to others, and that’s a beautiful thing.

If you struggle with co-dependency, this transit can be empowering for you. It can help you break free from unhealthy patterns and expectations, and it can show you a new way of being. You’re allowed to put yourself first, to pursue your own dreams, and to define your identity on your own terms. You’re also allowed to have healthy, fulfilling relationships, where you’re loved for who you are, not for what you do for others. You’re allowed to be inter-dependent, to support and be supported, to give and receive, to compromise and assert yourself. You’re allowed to be both strong and vulnerable, confident and humble, independent and relational.

The North Node in Aries and South Node in Libra are inviting us to find inter-dependence, to leave co-dependency and hyper-independence behind, and to discover a sweet, empowered balance in the middle. This transit can help women struggling with co-dependency to break free from unhealthy patterns and expectations, and to embrace their own strength and power. By integrating the fire of Aries and the air of Libra, we can learn to be independent and relational, self-assured and supportive, confident and humble. We can learn to be our own selves while also connecting with others. We can learn to find true inter-dependence, and that’s a beautiful thing.

I'm sending all my love and best to each of you as we grow and reflect for each other the light and lessons we are called to learn during this season!

XOXO
